Can you also help me with a steering wheel mounted stereo control query ? some rough (unt broke the bracket off for the volume control & I've fixed it with glue but it's not a great bandaid.

I wanted to replace it but have heard with cruise models the switches are all part of the same assembly, making it impossible to just replace one side. Is this correct ?

They are wired together but I guess you could change one part. You will be looking at the wreckers for the unit with cruise. The one without is still available and about $110.00

Hi George.

I've unfortunately broken the shaft that the temp control knob sits on, in our AU1 XR6. Can I still purchase the temp control switch assembly or the complete HVAC panel?

I have seen just the fan switch advertised on Ebay so thought I would ask, although I was unsure if it can be dismantled into the individual switches.

Thanks!

The top radiator hose for a EB 5 litre, what sort of price can I expect to pay from ford? can't seem to locate an aftermarket unit.

They DO have a different number but that doesn't mean much. It could be a small difference like diameter?

Hi Papa Smurf,

Are you able to tell me the prices for a couple of AU VCT bits please?

I'm after the shaft that goes from from the solenoid (possible one with the solenoid) and also the cam phaser housing.

Or the complete cam phaser is it's sold as a single unit.

Cheers,
Luke

Well, the housing is ERT 6C260 A $250.30, the valve assembley is ERT 6503 A $261.30.
Just as well you don't need the gear at the fron of the cam, it is $1948.00

Thanks :) that 2K gear is fairly pricey!

Prices for the housing and solenoid aren't as expensive as I thought they would be.
