Hey Papa, is the rear window moulding for the box cars (EAF420A24A) still available?

Sorry matey, gone the way of the DoDo. I would suggest trying a windscreen place, they usually supply moulds for when they fit screens. :)

For you're wealth of knowledge George I'm willing to wait 8-) however I'm talking about the floor carpet itself. I referred to it as a mould because it includes the kick panels etc. Alot of the after market carpets I've seen don't include the kick panels like the stock ones do. My carpet smells like dog & I need a new one... lol
It peeves me that everything else is black apart from the carpet. Or perhaps they never made black in utes so it blends with the rear panelling ?

Any help would be much appreciated as always.

They DID make Black Carpets for the AU ute but they are obsolete.
BA utes are similar and maybe you could make one of them fit? at least you could then buy the plastic side panels and it wouldn't look so bad?

The BA carpets are WAY too expensive to buy, $850.00

I'd track down a second hand genuine one in good condition, alternatively if yours is physically good get it steam cleaned or something?

I haven't ever seen an aftermarket carpet that comes near matching a factory one, they are complete crap. Good luck!

Thats why I asked... I'm guessing they don't resell them ?

I'm just looking for an excuse to change to black from the 'charcoal' :P

The original cable is now obsolete but, I can't see why you couldn't use the EF/EL one?
The EB/ED V8 uses the EL one so I am guessing the fitment to the clutch pedal is the same as the EF and from what I remember the EF/EL fitting to the lever is the same so? maybe it is a length issue?

As Loy_Ryda said, you CAN be lucky and find a dealer who will not charge you but they can charge up to $25.00 for it. You need to take the rego papers and a license to get the radio code normally and just giving them the 6FPAAA JGSW....... should suffice. I would strongly suggest you write the number either in the owners book or give it to your Missus or Mum? :D

well i went down to ford here, and they claim they have no access to the "system" and he would ring another dealership out of town and get me the code for free

still waiting over a week later, and they reckon they "havnt got around to it"....... can i ring some other dealer and arrange it all over the phone?. i just want to get this stereo working :|
