Hi Mr Smurf,
EL ghia.. the cruise control cable has a little plastic leg on the end, I snapped mine in a stupid fit of "why won't this damn thing unclip when I had it off fine yesterday.) I have the old foot somewhere in the shed if you need a part number, but basically it clips into the end of the cable and on the end of that is a cup that clips onto the throttle butterfly. Any idea if they are replaceable and what they'd cost? ta Frank |

Anyway, any parts on the cable are not serviced and you are going to need a NEW cable, fortunately they are still available EF 9A820 A $61.90 Attachment: Cruise.JPG

That is both a bummer and good news at the same time.
bummer because the cruise control cable looks new except for the tip.. and if I was gonna replace a cable, I'd get a new throttle as that one has lost all its plastic cover and looks as ugly as sin. still, guess I am gonna replace both. thanks muchly mr Smurf. cheers Frank |

Are there any Intermediate Shafts ( steering ) still available for the EL? If so, what do they cost?

I am off sick at the moment but on Monday I will look to see if I can locate one for you. They are obsolete but another dealer may still have one. They were around $350.00 - $400.00 |

Hey george,
I have a little tricky question. Do you happen to know the travel and bore diameter of the AU11 twin piston calipers. I am chashing up the amount of fluid that is pushed by the front twin calipers for a reference. This is to engineer my brake upgrade. I am now running AU11 master/booster and rear calipers, but need the specs for the fronts for the engineer. Oh yea, and hope you get well soon. Cheers Brett

Hey George,
Chasing the bracket that lives on the front bar of t1 te50, on the passenger side at the bar's top corner at the wheel arch. Fingers crossed it is the same as normal bumpers... Thanks Nick
