That is an Auxilliary cooler fitted to BF falcons for Towing. The pic in the listing I can't see properly but the part number for the BF cooler kit is BAF 7A095 AA.

This is the standard BF coolers from 01/10/2005.

I can't remember the post fully but if I led you up the garden path I am sorry.

$462.00 retail. They are very much like the pwr strg cooler for the V8 BA's and the XRT.

Isnt this the heater exchange that the BF's went to instead of the cooler inside the radiator like the BAs?

Nah is wasn't so much as being led up the wrong garden path:) The thread IIRC was about BA coolers and some guy on youtube b**ch about the in-radiator one failing. I was trying to identify the one Ford fitted to mine because they told me it was genuine BA-BF external cooler. That one on ebay is the one in my car and was fitted in 2006

Hi ya Papa Smurf,

Know i realise i'm dreamin here but can you tell me if there's any Fairlane "Concord" limited edition steering wheels available anywhere in Oz.

You know the type, with the leather and wood grain combination. I think its a Momo Wheel?

If so can you PM me with a price so i can hook one up through you.

Thanking you in advance.... John

I have a part number but it has been obsolete for 6 years. I did try to find one but no luck at all. There isn't a dealer in Australia that has one, sorry.

These are the original ones from the EA/NA/DA. You will just have to buy the other two from someone like Ebay. The later type will still work with them.

George, could I please have an exploded view of an AU A/C compressor? I would like to see how they break down.
Cheers

Ash, the only pic I have of an AU Compressor is to show the clutch separate. There is no pic of the internals of the compressor as you can't buy parts for them anyway. Ford has enough trouble showing pics of what you CAN buy. :)

I rebuilt an XF one by pulling it apart and taking it down to a bearing & seal shop. They matched up new bearings and o-rings for me. You might be able to do the same with the AU.

Hi Papa Smurf,

I've got a thread in the Wanted section looking for trim pieces for an EF/EL.
post1275157.html#p1275157

This is the list:
Rear quarter windows - both sides
Side window rubbers/runners - all four doors
Side window/door trim (the black bit at the base of the window at the hip line of the door - butts up against the mirror and rear quarter glass) - all four doors
Front windscreen side moulds - L + R
Door seal - the one that is attached to the turret of the car and runs from about the window line front to back - both sides of car
Windscreen cowl/scuttle panel - both parts including screw covers
Windscreen wiper arms - both sides including bolt covers
Windscreen washer jets x 2

Could you please check availability on these for me? I realise that genuine bits and pieces are probably getting quite hard to find these days though unfortunately.

Thanks in advance,

Nic

Are the foam gaskets that go between the boot spoiler and bootlid on a Series 1 EL XR8 still available?
Cheers Matt
