Are the foam gaskets that go between the boot spoiler and bootlid on a Series 1 EL XR8 still available?
Cheers Matt

Unfortunately these gaskets are way obsolete. There is not one dealer anywhere that has them.

Hi Papa,

Hope you can supply me with information regarding a gasket for between the inlet manifold and throttle body? I need to replace the throttle body as the one currently fitted is for LPG and I've had the LPG system removed. I'm sure the model vehicle doesn't matter but it's a 98 Fairlane Ghia V8.
Any further info you may need please let me know and I thank you in advance.

Ah damn... Yeah I was after one for an NL... I doubt the AU/NU V8 one will fit an NL...
I have found that the part number you have supplied can be found on the www.fordparts.com website... Would this be the same thing?
I have searched for both out of curiousity, the NL one is worth 46c and the AU one is worth $14. Thoughts?
Cheers.

most of the e series parts are obsolete from ford and you need to find second hand or aftermarket

Do you actually need the WHOLE aerial? You can buy the mast and rope.
The mast and rope is NR 18814 A $109.80, the Aerial assy NR 18813 A $300.80

The F1RE 9E933 AA is the same the world over. The gasket that goes between the inlet Manifold and the EGR Spacer is the same EF/EL/AU but the spacer is different. I have no idea what the exact difference is unfortunately. The EL GT used the standard AU one F67Z 9E936 AA $22.70.

Aerpro do the mast and rope too. $20 or so I reckon from memory, I've used one before and it was perfect. :D

The originals were round ones but all you can buy now are the rectangular ones and yes they cost $225.00 each.

You may need to try a few after market people in your area.
