Does ford do a roof mount DVD for the FG? Any info would be great. Size, part no, price etc.

Cheers. Rob.

Matey, I asked our New Car people and Ford does not do them at all but, when we are asked for a roof mounted one they have an outside people fit an Alpine one for about $1500.00.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Just regarding the ecu, if I go down to my local ford service center and supply my VIN#... will they be able to tell me the prefix?

Matey, you can still buy these new but not cheap and just black in colour (undercoat)
Part number EL 16612 A $418.00 and the front bar EL 17750 A $275.00. The bar is basically the shell with the fibreglass reinforcement. Any Ford dealer can get them for you but I think you could also try someone in QLD that supplies Smash Parts to Panel Shops.

Hi George,
I have to do an engine swap for my cousin on his 97 Mondeo 2L. Could I please have a price on these bits.
Lock washers for drive shafts
Timing belt
Plugs
Oil filter
Cheers

Timing Belt A94326 $112.55
Plugs 928F 12405 AF $29.20 ea (Iridium) ordinary ones 4M5G 12405 XE $8.07 ea
Oil Filter AFL 63 MC $13.25

With the lock washers I wasn't sure what you meant as there are none on the Wheel end of the drive shaft, but I am sort of guessing you want Circlips for where the shafts go into the gearbox?
Man Circlips W 700859 S403 $10.41 ea
Auto Circlips W 703036 S300 $3.30 ea

Hi George,

Can you tell me if you can buy XR6 turbo / F6 rod bolts separately to the rods and how much they cost?

Thanks

yes you can buy them, the bolts are ELH 6214 A $3.10 ea and the nuts ELH 6212 A $3.10 ea.
Bayfords are showing stock of both and if they have not, Ford has them in stock.

Hi Papa,
Hope you can supply me with information regarding a gasket for between the inlet manifold and throttle body? I need to replace the throttle body as the one currently fitted is for LPG and I've had the LPG system removed. I'm sure the model vehicle doesn't matter but it's a 98 Fairlane Ghia V8.
Any further info you may need please let me know and I thank you in advance.
:D

If it is an EL/NL V8 type they are obsolete from Ford, part number F1RE 9E933 AA
The AU ones is still available, part number F67Z 9E936 AA $22.70

Papa, do you mean obsolete from Ford as in unable to be purchased from a dealer or found anywhere throughout Australia? :)
