That is a bit extreme, they are $185.70 retail, part number XFL 7515 A and suit to AU. IS it the arm that is buggered or the bush in the end that actually holds the cable? |

The BA 24V V8 and the standard 6cyl are the same but the 32V V8 and Turbo are different. The BF range is also different. Standard 6 and 8 BA 9350 A $327.80 32V and Turbo BAT 9350 A $453.60 thnx george your awsome. and they are some expensive little buggers. lol. do you know if the xr8 or turbo ones can fit straight into my 3v v8 tank or is ther a need to modify somthin?

I've gone though all reinforcing stages, from firewall to pedal box, and now the fork is bending. Flexing from the area it starts to curve into the round end the rubber/encased clamp goes into. That piece itself is ok, although after a reinforced fork, that will prolly go next, lol. I'll probably manage to source one otherwise, I was just spinning out on the price.. Although it is genuine..

Ford lists different ones but that is only because they supply a tank with a pump. From September 2007 they supply a tank only and either pump will fit. |

AUII/II/BA/BF are all the same in lower control, upper control arms and stub axles. The only difference in BA/BF is that the front X Member is different to the AUs. Ford suggests replacing both upper control arms to BA/BF for the AU when needed. |

Just the answer I was looking for. I am chasing a knock in the front end, only upper and lower control arms to do really. otherwise its ball joints and its the wrong knock for a ball joint. PM me a price for B series lowers if you get time, would be appreciated.
Dave

Dave, have you checked the nuts for the rack? or the sway bar bushes?

sway bar bushes are brand new, did them myself. No, I have not checked the nuts on the rack. as in the 2 that bolt the rack to the K Frame? I'll have a look shortly though. It has me perplexed as to what it actually is. all the bushes look reasonable, not brilliant, but reasonable. Matt and I checked out on sunday with the same conclusion. Could be a rack bolt, the rack does not look very old at all, with new boots and tie rod ends.

Hi George.
Can I still get the pulley for the air con compressor on the EL 5.0 V8? I'm told this is a Sanden made compressor, and is similar across the EB-EL 5.0 series, and perhaps similar to the 4.0 I6? Any leads on who may still supply these parts? Have you ever had much to do with this sort of thing at your dealer? It appears that the bearing in the pulley has died, I'm trying to fix the compressor on-car before spending big money on a compressor and fitment.... Thanks George! |
