Do you know if any Ford dealers stock those white plastic clips that hold the EF-EL bonnet protector brackets to the underside of the bonnet? I went to the local Ford dealer here in Mildura (Davison Ford) but they don't have them. I'd like to get new ones if possible as the original ones tend to get brittle with age and fall apart.
I don't know the part number but they are like a T shape that push into the underside of the bonnet and a screw goes into the centre of them.
Looking to get some ASAP.
Cheers.

What you are asking for Ford NEVER serviced. As the protector is an Accessory they don't service parts for them at all sorry.

Looks like I might have to hunt around for some good used ones or look into getting some made.
All I really need is one good used clip but you wouldn't believe the trouble I'm having trying to find just one of them.

You couldnt just use a heap of super glue in the hole to hold the protector on?

They are just the basic numbers. The bearings you would be able to get at a bearing supplies, as for the seals and such, maybe The bearing place may be able to help? they would more than likely be NOK ones.

A long shot here George.
First I am after some cluster bulb holders for an EF. They are the grey ones that take a T5 bulb and are for the illumination. The ones I am after are the ones you can remove the globe from. If they are available would there be 12 available?
Now for some XH dash bits............
Im chasing the covers that go over the screws in the top of the cluster surround up near the dash pad. Also would there be the stereo surround and ashtray holder available for XH or XH2?

Hi George

The misses just bought a new CL Fiesta with the 6 spd auto. Great little car and goes very well. I got a couple of questions on parts though and hoping you can help me out below.

1. Key remote - the car only comes with one remote and flip key. It comes with a second key but no remote. The dealer said you need to get the remote etc from Ford and quote the number on it so the immobiliser can be programmed into it or something, - wondering how much for this as it would be nice to get a second remote for it.

2. As its only a base model it doesn't come with foglights however it has the buttons etc on the dash for it so wondering what a fog light kit would cost?

3. Is there touch up paint from Ford available for it? Its cool white (I can get paint code if need be)

4. It doesn't come with a spare wheel but instead it has some sort of repair kit. Not really a fan of it but the dealer said there is some spare wheel and jack kit you can buy for it as it has the space for the wheel - just wondering if such a thing exists and how much.

That's all for now mate, really appreciate your help.

Cheers
Phil

Yes we have those in stock but there are 3 differet types. There is a standard black coloured one and a grey coulored one then, there is a different one that is black but is a push in and turn type. The grey one is $3.30ea, the black counterpart is $4.95ea and the pushin turn one is $3.30ea

You can get them for $155.50 for remote and key but the key has to be cut at a locksmith who can lazer cut keys. You will need the key code number which HAS to be obtained from a Ford dealer.

The Foglamps do not come as an accessory kit but are available, $417.00 for the 2 lamps and the brackets for the bar.

No paint serviced, try VG auto paints at Girraween. http://wwwvgautopaints.rtrk.com.au/?sci ... kw=4070695

There is a Spare wheel and jack serviced for the vehicle. $299.00

Thanks mate,

I already got the spare key and code so would only need the remote. $150 is pretty good. The dealer was quoting me 300 or something crazy. Thanks for the other info, I will discuss with the misses

Cheers
Phil

George, would you be able to get me a rear drivers side bump stop for an '02 AUII XR6 Uterus? Noticed it missing a while ago and thought I should do something about that one day.
