Hey there Papa Smurf,
Do Ford still have cornering lights for NL fairlanes? & how much? Also is it a simple job to hook them up to turn on with the headlights? Thanks |

Thanks The lamps are still available but the wiring is not serviced, was part of the main harness. Part number R/H NF 15A201 A and L/H NF 15A202 A $126.50 each. |

Hey George, I'm of the understanding the middle exhaust pipe on the EF/EL XR6's has the front muffler of the 2 mufflers deleted.
I saw my local ford guy - all he can say is that the part no's are different for XR v std I6 for the middle exhaust pipes, but no diagrams. Any hope of a diagram of the XR6 setup ??

hey papa smurf im after some globe holdrs for the cornering lamp of nf/nl etc are these still in existance also after a ef fairmont series 2 timing chain cover

The diameter of the pipe is different. the XR is 2 1/4" diameter and the standard is 2". The flange at the back of the muffler is different too, it is a flange that bolts to one on the back muffler. It looks similar to the standard as it is just one muffler and the pipe. I have an EL XR6 muffler setup on my AU.  |

hey just wondering how much a brand new g6 rear bar is worth and also the back driver side mud gaurd

hi george, the boot garnish piece on an fg which is used like a handle to open the boot and the ford badge is attached to. are they all the same between models? (obviously some get painted and some chrome, but im thinking the rear ford and fpv badges are the same sizes and the boot lid is standard shape across the board)
also the f6 rear spoiler looks like an xr one but has three legs. any chance of buying that middle leg seperatley? cheers mate |

Yeah, I've only seen the slide in clamp arrangement - interestingly, the basic aftermarket systems start at 2 1/4" ID.Thanks for the info George.
