Thanks PapaSmurf. BTW, Turboblades ARE clear coated.

Thanks for letting me know.

ok well thanks slo247,
if this clear coat has been removed can i just spray some on or what??

Better off hitting the clear coat with some paint stripper and having the wheels bare.
That way they can be polished. Use the polish called Purple and they will ocme up a million bucks.
The clear coat is only to make them maintenance free for the masses. If you are preparred to spend a few hours repolishing them when they go off , having them without the clear coat is the best way to go in my opinion.

I was able to remove these parts from in the engine bay. I don't have an engine in there but I can't see why you couldn't do the same.

Sad to say, the uni joint from Ash arrived todah and it won't fit.. the steering shaft end looks the same, but the main steering shaft is completely different... male instead of female for one thing..

still..... nothing ventured, nothing gained.. and now that I see this it has me wondering if I could use this to get an AU steering column to fit......... have to keep an eye out.. :-)

That would be because the EF XR8 had 3.27 gears. Only the EL11 XR8 with the 185kw donk got a 3.45 LSD.

i'm sick of ppl telling me to try him. already did. he was useless. they said to me just because they designed the car twenty years ago doesn't mean they have parts for them
