cheers troyman and george. normally i would of thought its a bf, but it has a ba rear end. by that i mean lights and even has ba mk2 badge on the boot. thought it could of been hit in the a** and fixed, but cant see any evidence of it. so either some one did a good repair job but put ba lights and badges on, or the bootlid and rear lights were changed at some point.

Hi George
Can you please tell me if the A pillar interior plastics for a Fairmont Ghia with premium sound are still available?
I want to put my splits in the ute so need somewhere to put the tweeters.
Thanks.

The AU ones have gone long ago but, with a very little mod you can use the BA type ones.
I found this one and thought it may interest you?

Approx $400.00. Get one from Ebay, usually pick them up for $55.00 - $60.00 that's what I did for my AU.

Being so close to the change it could have had the wrong light put on and maybe the Badges? It's hard to say. Car companies DO make mistakes, I remember a BRAND NEW Gemini in 1979 with a Statesman VIN plate? also, a TC Cortina with a factory fitted 2V engine.

Hi George,

Was wondering if I could get the part number for the white egg crate looking plastic bit that sits on along the front bumper support panel (i.e. bumper skin rests on it normally). It is for a Series 1 TE50.

Thanks
Nick

The only difference in the AU series is the 250KW Engine.
