{USERNAME} wrote: While I don't like my chances of the part still being available, Price on an AU Drivers door window switch, the 4 switch item.. Thanks Dave Finally, Ford has obsoleted these. They said they were looking for another manufacturer but it appears they didn't bother. These items are now past the 10 year mark and are gone. |

{USERNAME} wrote: Wondering if door and bumper strips for a NA Fairlane are still available? And the heater pipe that runs round the engine on an EA, the real pain in the a*** one to take out, can they still be purchased, been told they have been discontinued, but Ford here doesn't know what I'm talking about. The bumper strips are obsolete as is the by pass pipe for the EA, the EF/EL/AU pipe is also obsolete. |

{USERNAME} wrote: Hi George, can you let me know a price for a coolant temp sensor and an AIT sensor for the AU. Appreciated as always. Dave The Temp sensor is EC 10884 A $46.90 and the other sensor I am guessing is the one next to the Temp one? if so, it is a F2DF 12A697 AA $53.60. These are retail prices. |

Im guessing later Fairlanes also had them? Thanks From EA through to EL the compressor is obsolete. Most people used to change the shocks in the rear and the springs. |

Where do I purchase one, or do I get an aftermarket one. cost please. Part number is EDC 8A084 B cost $118.65. This unit does not come with the sender so you would need to change it over. If you need to do that you will need the seal part number 84AG 17673 AA $8.30, the sender if you need is EA 10K888 A $64.50 and comes with the seal. Ahhh thats a bugger, Thanks anyway, I think they would have been really expensive though. I am thinking of putting a polyair airbag kit in the back of my wagon, and the mounting point for the compressor is there and I have the bracket, I thought i could use that to pump them up easily. Thanks again |

It is with much sadness that I will no longer be able to help with numbers or info after May 11th this year. Due to constant health problems I have finally taken my Doctor's advice and will retire from work.
I am so sorry that I will not be able to help all of you. I have tried to do the best I could for everyone and I do hope it helped a LOT. If the Moderators could close this section for posting enquires after May 11. George |
