ARGH I paid $60 for some s**t topgun ones. They are s**t, going to take them back and get Ford ones. $67 is great.

Thanks alot.

I need a few other bits too.
-The plastic end on the cruise control cable that joins onto the throttle body. For an EF 6.
-One of the rubber bonnet stops on the radiator support.
-Also, 7 of those scrivets that hold the plastic trim panel over the headlights down, EF Fairmont.
-The bolt and washer that holds down the big plastic intake piping on an E, secures it to the rocker cover.

Thanks alot PapaSmurf.

Wow! I think I'll just get an AU Intake Pipe from the Airbox to TB. How much for one of those?

Thanks very much again. Shame that I have to buy the whole cable, hope it isn't hard to fit.

I need another thing too, this may be a tricky one. I fitted EL2 Doortrims to my EF1. I need the plastic blocks that the screws on the back of all 4 doortrims go into. These plastic blocks sit in the holes in the doorskin. Will need the grey doortrim screws too.

Prices?

Thanks :D

Do you mean the plastic blocks for the door handles ?
If you go to a EL intake setup you will need to change the air cleaner box as well.

Papa Smurf, I was wondering if the ED XR8 Sprint and EBGT steering rack part numbers would be the same? I'm hoping they are as they have a better pinion ratio!

Hey George,
Am thinking of starting to watch out for a BA XLS 5.4 ute. I've owned a couple of BA's as you know but have not had much to do with the 5.4 version. How do you find them in regards to parts requests and persistent issues?
Cheers,
Ash

Ash, we don't sell much for them at all, more the 6cyls. I haven't heard anyone complaining much although, they did have issues with timing chain tensioners but, that is all over.

Would be nice I guess especially if you could get an XR8 at a good price? :D

The Headlights are $420.00 each side and the shields under the lights are $88.00 each. The front indicator lights are $66.00 each, all you need besides them is the front bar.

ERTVE 13005 A O/S/F H/L
ERTVE 13006 A N/S/F H/L
AUTVE 13B041 A O/S/F H/L Shield
AUTVE 13B042 A N/S/F/ H/L Shield
ERTVE 13368 A O/S/F Indicator Light
ERTVE 13369 A N/S/F Indicator Light

Papa Smurf, we have a big problem! with our AU 1 XR6 VCT.

I took out the sump plug to drop the oil, and there is a metal spriral like a spring threaded onto it? It can be removed and threaded back on, but its bent out of shape and I can't get the plug to go back in properly.

Is this metal spring/spiral available to buy? I need another one, its mangled.

Is it meant to go on the drain bolt, or in the actual drain hole?

At this point the car is useless, as I can't put oil in i!

If you can help that would be great. :D

sounds like the sump plug hole in the sump is stipped, you can buy over sized plugs, but i think your past that.change the sump pan with a good one and dont over tighten the plug
