I got a rocker cover off an AU but the cruise cable mounting hole isn't tapped. Is the rocker cover a different part number for a car with cruise, or is there some sort of bracket to bolt the cruise cable down? Just get the bolt that holds the throttle cable to the rocker cover, and screw it into the blank hole for the cruise cable, and it will put the thread in it. Nice and easy. Cheers BenJ from memory the factory bolt is actually a thread cutting screw so it cuts its thread as its screwed in... |

Need to replace my aircon compressor(EB1XR8) as it is leaking like a bastard!
What, if any, model can I retro-fit into the EB? Do I just go to an aftermarket aircon place for a new system? Thanks Rob F |

That is all I can tell you, maybe others will know more. |

SLO247 wrote: What about me? I can't see why using those calipers would be detrimental. They use the same pads and bore diameter is the same, use same bolts to mount them so, I would say that it should be ok. |

Ok, thanks.
Can you tell me how much fluid is needed to flush and bleed the whole system? |

SLO247 wrote: Ok, thanks. Can you tell me how much fluid is needed to flush and bleed the whole system? When the service department does that, they use about 1 ltr. BTW, just check the dimension of the opening for the caliper, there may be a slight difference due to disc being possibly wider? |
