Papa Smurf, is the factory Grey EL Manual Gearboot available?
And EL Standard grey manual Gearknob? Plain Grey base spec handbrake handle cover? Without the boot and steel handle/button etc. I'll get the plain ones new if they are available. Also, can I buy a blank uncut EL Key from Ford still? I need a spare and want a genuine one. Thanks Papasmurf. |

Sorry matey but the booster is obsolete and they are different to EF/EL. [/quote]
i will bow to your greater knowledge but do you know in what way they are different they look identical and i had no choice today and needed car for work and the only one i could get on short notice was one from a ef so i figured nothing to lose and fitted it and it appears to be working fine |

The only thing about those EF/EL ones is they are plastic. It is good that you got it to fit anyway. |

nah all mountings are exactly the same and by all account the AU Series I is the same also and yeah really suks being plastic - not good when you got extractors and potentially a time bomb waiting to go off - crack the casing = NO BRAKES heat shield time i think dont want this to happen again and i think ANYONE that has extractors fitted SHOULD fit a heat shield to protect booster and master cylinder and steering components |
