Cheers for doing that mate... Do you have idea how many wires are in each spring?

5 in EF/EL
6 in AU?
8 in BA?

You aren't able to find info on the resistance values in the cruise switches and or a wiring diagram on how they work are you? If this sort of info isn't available I'll save up and buy a set and work it out for myself... The silver ones are 150 on ebay, whats a set of new black ones worth?

Cheers,
Tim

Sorry to take so long but I have been busy.
I Got some pics for you, not the best but I think you will see.
The EF/EL clock spring has 5 wires, the AU one has 6 wires and, the BA/BF one has 10 wires.
AU and EF/EL look very similar actually.

is the BA/BF one fatter to get the extra wires in there? I imagine there is no way in hell the BA one would mount to the EF/EL combo switch though...

Cheers,
Tim

You are SO right matey. They are like Chalk and cheese. I dare say you could get away with using the AU one but the BA one mounts different.

Yeah the trouble I have is with a BA/BF wheel (lanhams had a spare I borrowed) is that it puts an inch of distance to the combo switch and becomes hard to reach... I don't want to run a BA combo switch (I have headlight switch in the dash), So I am trying to work why it isn't so far in a BA... I don't think the wheel sits closer to the combo (still have to get a clock spring in there) so it must be down to the design of the arms on the combo...

Not sure what I can do to modify this yet... :?

Cheers George,
Tim

Good evening sir.
If you would be able to help me out with pricing on some FPV items.
I know the deal, am factory trained tech.
The service deparment people have all changed since I was there (Westland Autos - Kalgoorlie) and are no longer extending a helping hand to a non-fpv vin number holder :D

Anyways, A pair of Front BA GT-P Leather Seats. Black leather Rid Stitching, Steering wheel and Brembo fronts (full package, pads etc)

Are you able to do pricing or just supply part numbers? Either way, the part numbers should be enough to get me the info I need.
Just want to compare new prices to 2nd hand items I can get.
Thanks Papa
