Looks good matey, I thought the Taupe might be close? or maybe the Buckskin? :D

People with anything earlier than AU rarely come to US looking for accessories. :(

Hey Papa Smurf,

Is there any chance that Ford still stock centre caps for the Fairlane Concorde rims? They came out on either the NF or NL, sorry, i cant remember which one as there is apparently 2 different types of rims. One of the centre caps i have only has 1 and a half clips left just managing a tight fit to hold it in lol

Anyways heres a sample pic as a reference..

Cheers.

KWIKXR, the centre caps for these wheels are not serviced anymore from Ford but I will look at work today and see if we have any old stock. The part number is NLC 1A065D and NLH 1A065C in Gold.

There WERE different part numbers for the EF and EL alternator but I suspect that the difference would have been minor as the mounts and braces are the same, they are not available anymore though.

As to the AU alternators, they are now using the the BA ones and from what I can see the mount is a part of the block? I may be wrong as the pics are crap.:D

As with most things, there is often a way to mount articles like this to different models and maybe you CAN adapt a BA one to your EF/EL?

Now, once again I apologise for not reading the entire thread before butting in and repeated information others had already supplied.

I am interested to know if the Ford EF II V8 Front Sway bar would be different to the Ford EF II I6 Front Sway bar.

Or if the wagon, ute and sedans are all the same V8 or I6... You get the picture old mate Smurf...?

The Sway bar, which is still available, will fit most EF/EL EF 5482A $100.00 and is 27mm diameter. The GT and TIckford Fairlane use the heavy duty one off the XH Ute, but it is obsolete, so is the Standard Ute one.

PS; There is no V8 or I6 version, they are the same.

Ahh cheers mate, was thinking they no longer of continued to do them. Anyways, i quote those part numbers to the ford spare parts guys and see if they even the faintest clue of what i am on about - thats Ford NZ for ya

I checked today at work and we don't have any, none of the dealers we are hooked to have any either. I had the boss do a quick check for parts Australia wide and no good there either I am afraid. :(

Hey Papa Smurf. Territory tailgate struts? They have them on ebay for $45 plus post. But I have had troubles with the seller before so am a bit hesitant. Are the genuine ones close at all to that price?

Cheers!

Well, there are 2 Struts, SX A42104A and SX A42105A $38.50 each (right and left of course. :) )

Hey Papa Smurf and all you other helpful buggars!
i need a NF (EF) 5.0 Alternator as mine is s**t, and no-one seems to have them, the part no is 94DA-10300-BB, it has the 2-pin plug and is rated (as previously mentioned) at 110 amps, i was wondering if there are any US equivalents say from Mustangs or F-series that you might know of, i'd rather buy a new one as reco can be really dodgey these days - can anyone help? some US ones have the 10300-BB with a different prefix as they are American i assume , would these fit- maybe?
