Ford parts pricing is no worse than anyone else's. I am sure that the company YOU work for needs to make a profit as well. |

If so, you will need to replace the fitting on the end of the Hose Part Number BA 3F656 B. there is a bit of an art to cutting the old fitting off too... the old man does it by measuring down to the circlip... then cutting right on top of the circlip with and angle grind right round until the nut parts and then you can remove the old circlip and the new fitting clips straight on... {USERNAME} wrote: {USERNAME} wrote: is it both the clear bit and the black bit or just the clear bit? {USERNAME} wrote: Hey Papa, what comes with the AU head gasket... is it comparable to the ACL monotorque valve regrind set which comes with the head gasket, exhaust gasket, intake gasket etc etc You can buy a VRS for an AU but it might be cheaper for you to buy only the Head Gasket ER 6051 A $88.00 and get the rest of the gaskets from a Supercheap or equivalent. The VRS genuine is ER 6079 A $336.00 |

I love wreckers BTW, they showcase US in a better light |

{USERNAME} wrote: hmm replace the fitting? explain? At the end of the High Pressure is a nut that screws into the back of the pump to attach the Hose to the pump. These little buggers leak and the ONLY way to fix them is to replace the nut. You will need to take the High Pressure hose OFF the car and place the nut in a vice and gently hacksaw the nut part way through, careful to NOT cut into the pipe itself. After you have done that, use a chisel to crack the nut the rest of the way and replace it with the number I gave you, it WILL fit even though it doesn't look the same, it is a modified one they started using in AU IIIs, the Nut only costs $11.00. I am sure Heyers will have |
