Just wondering, my mech picked up a series 1 au xr6, September 98 build, congo grean, 5 spd manual, + vct, for wrecking, but i cant seem to find any tickford identification plates

Just wonderin if the early xrs had the tickford plate

By right they SHOULD have, the ordinary XR with the HP motor didn't get the plate but as far as I am aware the XR with VCT and the XR8 DID get a plate by TICKFORD on the passenger side under the bonnet.

Hey George,

Price + availability on the part in the ED heater/cooling system that give you windscreen and feet... Separate to the heaterbox, just a smaller separate piece with a flap in it and a dual stage plunger on it...

Also whats an EF-AU oil pressure sender (not switch) worth?

Cheers,
Tim

Oh also, Price and availability on the piece of test gear that goes in series with the plug that goes on the outer dizzy module, I wanna try making my own but I can only get the harness plug, not the dizzy side to make the patch harness, Not sure if they are still available, I know CAM testers aren't, just worth a try though, Ford don't sell just plugs do they? The dizzy harness plug and its mating half?

Cheers,
Tim

If that is on the right side of the heater case, it is STILL available. Part number EA 19740 A $89.00.

The OP sender is EF 9D290 A $57.00.

None of those harnesses are available and Ford haven't supplied plugs for years :(
