a. Air flow meter
b. Left Hand Side & Right Hand Side Inner door seals (that run across the top of the roof lining for the doors.)
c. Top radiator hose (Mmm yeh an interesting one!)

What are your thoughts on the availability and prices of these?
Many thanks in advance!

1. For the Air Flow sensor, part number for a 1997 onwards V8 F1SZ 12B579 AARM $2,910.80 and this is a re-manufactured unit  ( I am sure you could find it available in the USA for MUCH less)

2. Roof rail weatherstrips. R/H NF F51400 A $81.50, the L/H one is obsolete but you may be able to find someone with one, part number NF F51401 A.

3. The Top Rad hose EC 8260 B1MC $104.00

Matey, I work at Thomson Ford and if you need one, just give me a call and I am sure I can do MUCH better than those prices for you. You don't have to mention who it is here but I would be interested to know who it was that quoted you that price for $128.00, just PM me and let me know if you would.

When you get a chance George can you check the system and see if there any NOS Maverick bits still in the system? I dont think I have asnowballs chance in hell but it would be nice to actually have some new bits on the old girl.

I must be too old to understand but, what is NOS? (new old stock?)
99.9% of Maverick stuff is LONG gone, we do nothing for them anymore
and when people phone up for stuff, we now put them to our Nissan guys :D

Hi George,
Can you tell me if the tissue box holder under the ICC on Cam's BA is the same as on my Territory?
I would think that it is but have learned a long time ago to never assume anything with Ford.
Cheers

Sorry Ash, the console and dash parts are completely different to BA/BFs

Hi Papa Smurf,

Long time reader, and first time poster here. I hope you can help me out...

I have a Nov/03 BA LPG Futura and the auto transmission is shuddering into fourth, as well as having a slight squeal when cold. I think the shuddering is due the radiator core splititng nad letting water into the transmission - this happened about 9 months ago. I have now changed to an external transmission cooler!

I am going to rebuild the transmission myself as I have access to all the necessary tools/presses, but I can't afford to have the car off the road for more than a day. Due to this, I can't pull the box down and then get the relevant parts so I was wondering if you could help out with the part numbers so i could obtain the parts before hand...

Would you be able to list me the part numbers for:
1) bearing kit
2) gasket/seal kit
3) S5 solenoid
4) clutch pack kit
5) filter (with seal)
6) pump gears
7) All bands

I know it's quite a big ask, but it REALLY would be much appreciated.

I have only listed the oil pump gears above as I have read that the squeal is due to the pump gears wearing out, as the BA pumps were changed from AU in order to reduce driveline loss...

If there are any other parts that I have missed that you think I would need, please feel free to add them to the list.

I have PM'd you my VIN number.

Thanks a HEAP!

Cheers,
Ross
