Yeah nice work guys, look forward to seeing other states contribute. Try and cheep the chatter down in this thread i reckon.

Here's the SA perspective.

The all important "Bulletin 3" which provides guidance on modding engines/vehicles and the requirement to inspect/engineer/otherwise for all years and makes.

This is THE document.

Also, the current Gazettes made under the Road Traffic Act of SA. Basically these are exemptions from stuff you may find in the legislation. Some mods you are planning may be allowable under these Gazettes, but the law takes a very strict interpretation.

Remeber these are the national rules - similiar to a guideline and are still subject to the terms and conditions governed by the state/territory governing motoring body.....

FNP - that DPI website is s**t and a pain in the rear end for modifiers over here IMO .. the 11 page document now a 12 page one vehicle owners whom 'potentially" want to modify their vehicle can fill out to get prior approval before modding but is kinda useless if you come from interstate and wish to register your vehicle without getting yellow stickered... :P is the only info they have on their website regarding modifying your ride ...
