http://www.fordforums.com/showthread.ph ... ge=1&pp=10 is another that's been quoted from time to time (it's based on the ford tech item).
I'd like to see a doco hosted here, including extras like changing the rear main seal, tips on the bellhousing bolts, starter motor remove/install etc, but I suppose it's personal preference.

starter motor is easy. 2 bots hold it in and a plug and one wire on the back. piss easy

We know this - some people though have said it's very difficult to get to the top bolt - there are a few methods to make this easier.
Just saying "2 bolts hold it in" in a doco doesn't really help them.
Adding a few alternatives would help them.

Those starter bolts arent fun!! I managed to knock the hose of my MAP sensor in the process of removing those bolts and couldnt figure out why my car was running like crap untill someone on here came to my rescue!
