Heres a copy of the installation instructions for early alarm kits for BA's. (BEM Change etc).

yeh i just noticed that too
i'll see if i can rescan them in a bit
i think it split one page into 4 thinking they were seperate images
stupid automated scanning programs

man, this looks really interesting as some kids have been breaking into cars lately around the area, didn't know it had all the arm/disarm capabilities locked into bem. :)

the alarm kit you buy now wont have it, its a different kit thats much more complex and much harder to disable. This one i believe if u unplug the siren it stops making noise.

Mr X posted this in response to me freaking out about a Black BEM under my ICC.

The early BA's required a Black BEM to replace either the Blue or Green BEM that they came with in order to support 2 extra pins for the Alarm. Pretty heavy eh?

I haven't seen the newer alarms, but either that functionality has been built into the BEM by default or the newer Alarms don't require the BEM.

Oh, and your attachment has disappeared. You in the process of redoing it maybe?
