So has any one managed to find a way so that people are able to view a repair manual that is linked to this site?

Hopefully there is some thing available for free, because I am the 'cheap' like a budgie.....

Cheers

I've been contacted via PM, about getting sent a copy, so I can host it. But nothing since. I'll let everyone know when I get it.

i got the service done at alto ford.

it was a minor service because all they did was replace the spark plugs and oil......

I have told abit of a lie tho the service was actually $310.

Cheers

spark plugs on BA's are irridium and retail for at least $30 each, so thats $180 there, plug theres the labour to pull the air intake tubing and cover off to get to the plugs, plus the normal service, actually doesnt sound too bad...[/b]

I am not to sure where I have put my service history but I don't think they changed the plugs..... most of the cost was labour..... but I guess $310 isn't so bad... I guess I was just upset that I couldn't use that money at the pub.....

to give u some idea a standard A service on a BA we usually charge somewhere around the $175 mark including checking for latest calibrations etc... it goes up to about $185-$190 on BF's as the oil filters are more expensive, and B services are around the $225 mark, more or less the same as ultratune and automasters etc...

have ford changed the oil filters on the bf series falcons xpression? after all these years of using the same ones!
these ba falcons certainly start to chew the juice if they arent tuned properly and if they are due for a service and carboned up.

Yeah they have (on the 6's at least). They've gone to a physically smaller filter.

oh gay, so ford can now have commodore sized engine oil filters. I reckon thats half the reason commodores dont tend to do the large mileage as falcons tend to do.
no longer the size of a big cup of coffee :)
