I just bought an EB XR8, and up until yesterday I could open the boot. Now the mechanism appears to be jammed. It wont release with the dash button and when I use the key, I can trrn the lock but no release. Got in the boot through the back seats and attempted to force the catch open with a screwdriver, still a no go. This is the first Falcon I have owned, so I am not too familiar with how thing work yet. ANY help would be much much appreciated

climb in the boot with a torch and pull the cover panel off the inner boot. u should be able to release the latch from there

sorry to hijack your topic but i have a question is their any way of adding a pull cord to the boot latch like most of the new falcons have?
