Insteads of using the stock EF box piping, just remove that and use some 3" tubing from Supercheap, that way you don't have to cut up anything.

ive seen people with their pod filter all the way down near a whole in the bumper-bar(or how ever you spell it). would you gain any power from this?

its possible, but many people will argue with possible and thats what is great... some person with the physics knowledge will know this. also this boxing pod filter is a mad idea.

Taking off the sno'0'rkel would probably me pointless, even if you ran a pipe to the 'bumkper' as well. (Try a spell check before you post next time mate.)

i have a replacement flat panel K&N filter with a snorkel and pipe running down to the front bar(fog light holes) and tried a pod before too, found better results with the flat panel, but i didn't box the pod to be fair.
