http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.as ... &SUBCATID= - 1 ohm
http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.as ... &SUBCATID= = 18 ohm (firm shift) http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.as ... &SUBCATID= - 22 ohm (not as firm)

Do you reckon instead of the 1ohm resistor i could put ones of those adjustable pot things, i forget what there called, to adjust the firmness, except i would have no idea what value of pot to get considering the ef to eb values are so different?

No..you can replace the other one with a pot but remember that you have to have a 1 ohm resistor if you are using a pot. I might suggest getting the one lower then 18 ohm but done go below 17 (if there is a 17) and having a pot so u can have no resistance in the pot for a firm shift and a resistance in the pot to get a less firm shift.

Been thinking about the shift kit mod. Stage two shift kit has a on off switch and a switch for a firm and moderate shift.
So i could easily do this with the EB II - ED one but i am thinking of values for the EF/EL one. BTW my old boss wants a shift kit for VN - VS commodores as he has alot of them. Anyone know how to do it on these.

thanks mate, is it okay to use 1ohm 5wat, and 18ohm 5wat resistors, or do i need 10watt ones?

i got mine from jaycar at springwood/underwood
