My el has a gearbox that tends to slip when at operating tempreature, iv added an extra transmission cooler and that hasnt seemed to improve it, its only doin it when its at operating temp and the higher the revs the worse the slip/flare and clunk is
Iv checked the fluid it is at a good level although does need changing Before you all jump up and down n say change it i wanna know if theres other things that may fix it, i wanna avoid changing the oil to find out i need to drop the pan again n again n waste money on oil or even find i need. New box. Is there any way to test the s5 ( reading through forums seems it can be. Major cause), I have a home made diagnostics unit but will that give the codes from the transmision i tried once and couldnt keep up but i believe it gave the s5 but the car was cold then so could that mean its fcked ? Anyhelp will br greatly appreicated (: |
