went and priced a h/d clutch 4 my xr6t at profix($1380) does this sound right or is or are they just trying to make a quick buck out of me.

mates mate got an AUXr8 done hd clucth was around $800 or so

yeh id be thinkin its pretty close to the mark mate...ring a couple other trans/clutch specialists joints might be able to get it for $1100 but id say thats pretty right for ya car.

thanks for your help will ring around a bit though new to this whole clutch thing as all my previous cars have been auto.

yeah sounds ok my mate just bought a heavy duty clutch (not fitted) and it was $700. unfortunately everything to do with the XR6T arfermarket is expensive
