I've managed to get a nice pair of 14's on my EF (with a little bit of grinding). Im just wondering if im likely to get the car registered with em though? The overall diameter is very close, if not larger.

I doubt it mate. It's below factory size and also below the size that would have otherwise fit on without modification.

Depending on your locations and state requirements, you'll probably have to get it engineered for it to be legal.

I have to ask why you bothered getting 14s?

Fair enough. The main reason is someone gave them to me with new tyres on em. The other reason is they actually look pretty cool, they're 4 spoke alloys with 215's and a fair bit nicer than the 'classic' 15's.
