Alright guys, long time reader first time poster. I've just managed to get my hands on a set of 18" pre au chromies (9" wide front 9.5" rear). I put the 9" wides on the front but its rubbing on what looks like a suppourt arm (connecting lower control arm to upper control arm). The car is lowered on pedders low springs and currently has no motor but the suppourt arm thingo is pushing the top of the mag outwards when the weight of the car is on the wheels.
Now I'm guessing 9" is abit too much for the front so I'm probably going to need spacers (yes I know its illegal) but does anyone know a good safe width spacer would be good to fit so the mags are still resting mostly on the hub? Or if anyone has over come this problem any help would be appreciated. Cheers!
