Ok so i'm wrecking my ef i6 falcon manual and I thought instead of selling the gearbox maybe it would fit into my ltd v8. I really have no idea whether it will fit or anything or how to do it. Just wondering if its a good idea or not. Considering it will cost $1800 to fix the transmission in it i thought it might be cheaper??

No, the six cylinder box will not bolt up to a V8.

Sorry.

hi
the bellhousing is different of course and the box will bolt up but the problem is the 6 cyl input shaft is to short..

there are a few places like (dellow automotive)that do cut and shut the input shafts.. but i dont know how strong they would be...
