I have an au xr6 2000 and have just been given a series3 futura to part, what parts if any could use to enhance my current ride? I was told the front brake system maybe better and easily installed any information will be appreciated

essentially there is nothing from the futura you could use as an upgrade for the xr6. most people would use xr6 parts to improve there futura.
everything is interchangable , but from series 2 to series 3 things like brakes ,suspension arms, gearbox ect are the same.. unless its a series 1 then you can use the series 3 suspension to upgrade the brakes |

Xr6 was built Dec 1999 and futura is June 02

XR6 is a series 1, so as Troy has said, the front suspension with the twin pot brakes will be a great upgrade, other than than, not much else is useful from the Futura.
