I just bought a set of 19" wheels with 245/35 profile tread.
Just wondering if anyone has these tyres on their falcon and if they have any problems with guard rub or hitting the front upper suspension arm? will hub adaptors effect this? cheers guys

OI have that size all round no problems rolled the front gaurds but back fine

im on superlow springs all round, with 245's on the rear with NO troubles at all, even with a full boot and carload (rims tucked under the guard). I also put the 245's on the front (my standard fronts are 235's) for about 2 weeks with no trouble either..
my opinion is go for 235 at the front though, better steering. |

ok kewl so any reason why you only had 245's on the front for 2 weeks? bad steering?

swapped my rears to the front and ran stockies on the rear for 2 weeks when i buckled one of the front 235's.

got these all round on my BF falcon, which is also lowered (peddars low springs) not rubbing issues at all, i was actually looking at getting it lower so there was no wheel well gap but there could be the possibility of it rubbing then so just left it, i went from 225/50/17 to these 19s and only noticed enhanced steering, think of it this way, the more rubber you got on the road the more grip you got to boot it around corners

Length of foot print is where a lot of "inline" traction is got...as well as sidewall flex.
