Eb1 3.9 4spd auto runs at approx 1875rpm at 100km/h with 205/65/15 tyres. What diff gears do I have?

My guess is 3.08. If you know what the 4th gear ratio is then you could work it out directly.

nah its 3.08, my au sits at 1850 and has 16 inch slightly lower profile, and is 3.08.
do you have larger rims skidder? coz that will lower your highway rpm's. either that or your gauge is slightly out

look on the diff for a tag or on the drivers side axle.

if its the original diff its more than likely 2.92 my ea had 2.92 and sat on about 1875 rpm@100 when i fitted a 3.08 ratio it sat on 1950 rpm@100 and it now has a 3.27 and it sits on 2100 rpm@100 and yes i changed the speedo gear to suit the ratio to keep the speedo correct hope that helps |

theres a calculator on here it was awsome for when i changed my diff gears. the changes it predicted were spot on so i'm still driving without the speedo gear for now till i get one. i had a c4 in the garage but someone got to it before me!
death to the 2.92s my fuel economy actually got better switching to a 3.23 lsd ! which i would imagine would be more rotating mass = more driveline drag. but the motor works much less doing the same thing now & it doesn't feel like your trying to pull a b double.
