I have a 3.23 single spinner and yeah i helped my take off a s**t load ( but may be because i went from a 3.03 single with bent axles) other then that mine all seems the same other then the RPM being higher.

Depends on what ratio you have in the car now.

it wouldnt decrease ur top end of the rev range, but decrease ur top speed yes..if there was no limiter. since there all limited to 180, with a 3.23 diff u will get there faster, but at that constant speed the car will rev a little higher, with the shorter diff ratio.

if its a eb v8 diff it should be a 3.27(yea i know its close enough!)
you will find a slight improvement in accelaration and you wont notice any drop in top speed except the rpm will be alittle higher eg 3.08 =1900 rpm@100km..and 3.27=2100rpm@100..aprox.. dont forget to change the speedo drive gear in the box or your speedo will be out... |

Go with it Josh, you'll notice a big difference from a 3.08. Should be more economical around town and as Troy says only revs a little higher @ 100kph, although I found my 3.45 only 'cost' me around 100rpm, nothing really.
Unless you're measuring it at the track you won't notice any real difference from a 3.23/7 to a 3.45 either, it's a good versatile ratio. Even if you've got a 3.23 ratio now the LSD will be a big improvement in overall use. Cheers, Mac

so with an auto if i went from 3.23 to 3.45 or 3.5 what would my 100kph revs climb to?

It's a good move as long as you have a taller diff ratio now.....
It will definitely make the car accelerate a bit harder but won't effect your top speed much at all.... a 147kw 6 or 165kw 8 will run out of power long before it runs out of revs in top gear! LSD's are such a better thing than an open diff anyway, do it just for that if nothing else!
