hi guys, the LSD in my ED Fairmont Ghia has died recently and im going to get the diff rebuilt soon. so i thought while i was at it id get the ratio changed. the thing is ive heard that having anything above 3.45 and the auto can get confused and wont shift at the right RPM's. has anyone else had this problem before? just need some info on the matter as my diff is getting rather whiney too. thanks.

Did you need to change the speedo/rev limiter?
How was fuel consumption changed?
