Hey Molloy, I was quoted $450 for the gears, $700 for a 4 pinion LSD and $250 for bearings and fitting. All new.

Yeah, im gonna use a XR diff so its already got the lsd so ill just need the gearing, so im looking at 450, thanks champ!

Got a local bloke here in mandurah thats been doing diff's and performance stuff for ages, he hasn't got a business name just works out of an old factory unit and gets work by word of mouth. Can get contact details if needed.

dont quote me but i dont think 3.7 gears will go straight into an XR 3.45 LSD housing, your best bet Molloy would be to contact Brett4777, he's a diff specialist, and has a good rep amoungst a few fordmodders who he's built diffs for, he would be able to advise you on the best way to go.

Yeah no worries, I'll call by and see him this week and get a contact number. If you do get down to see him don't be shocked buy Him and his workshop, there old school if you can put it that way, s**t every where but all usefull, world of knowledge.

yes i have 3.7's mine with the BTR. It made a pretty noticible difference. Still bogs down a bit on take off, but only takes a split second to hit 2500rpm and then the cams on song, and second gear is awsome {DESCRIPTION} heres a vid of my speedo, foot to the floor through 3 gears, keep in mind though that this was filmed with the 3.08:1 speedo gear in, so the speedos reading about 25km/h to quick.
