want to put a 4 speed trans into early 88 ea cause mine is dying slowly what has to be done

Done this on my 88 EA, from memory we needed to make a custom cross member as the factory ones don't work out due to the studs being in a different position than the EA2. You'll either need to change you're whole wiring loom to a EA2 style one which already suits the BTR, or you can tap into your current wiring with the help of some wiring diagrams.

It's not as straight forward as you'd think!

i know It's not as straight forward as you'd think thats why im asking i can do the tap into your current wiring with the help of some wiring diagrams.If anyone has them please send them to me thanks it that i have two four speed sitting here going to waste
