pulled the pump down.. again and fiddled with the vanes and they still seem to be no different on either side, so i put them back in, but that plate thats held in with th ebig circlip had fallen out which id say was the colpret, i had checked it and checked it..and checked it before putting the pump back together yesterday but it decided to fall out today, so now i have realised why it fell out and made sure the clip was fully inserted and secure and now i have the worlds best power steering pump!! :D

hi guys i have a power steering pump that moans and groans and whines like a b**ch and also leaks will this kit fix all that?

throw it an buy a new one, once they make that sound the rubber seal kit wont stop the noise.they usually make that noise if theyve been run very low/out of fluid

yeah i let it run out of fluid about 4 times lol my bad :oops:

yeah if you rebuild it with the rubber kit it will still whine,

go onto ebay and look at au 6 cyl ones, ash told me they sell for a couple bucks plus postage and are the same unit
