ive got the 022 ratio set(.50 6th) in my EL.. plus 4.11 retro fitted diff gears..

4th runs out at 150kmh, 1850rpm at 100kmh.

an option is a richmond 5 speed..... ultra low gears and a 1:1 5th gear... run a 3.08:1 or so diff, and you're laughing..... best part is lower tailshaft RPM which means less problems with balance, etc

The BA T56's have an integral bellhousing, meaning that it is cast into the gearbox housing itself and unfortunately they are not compatible with the Windsor, or the earlier I6's (so I am led to believe anywho).

A good machine shop should be able to machine something up for it though, either an adaptor plate or a complete new bellhousing with the old one being ground off altogether.

Could be expensive to achieve that tho, as most bellhousings are cast.

T56 from Mal wood is around $8k inc adaptor plate required to bolt upto I6.

T5 "Z" Spec is around $2,200 and will handle around 250rwkw pretty well, also from Mal Wood
