I've been searching around for a detroit locker centre for my ED which I will move into my next car, EL.

I have found some on the net - 9" Ford Soft Locker 28 Spline, some at $600 and some around 1K.

Will these fit into the aussie falcons?

Here is one of the links

Thanks Ryan

Detroit have their own home page, you might be better to look at that.

Have you already got a 9" centre/housing/gears, or will you fit these at the same time as a locker?

I have read reports that the Powertrax drives better then the detroit soft locker, and is cheaper, maybe much cheaper. Plus, they have a Powertrax that fits the standard centre, so you don't need to go 9".

I would only go 9" if i wanted a manual locker, like an ARB airlocker.

4WD Systems do their own Lokka, it fits E-Series and AU 28 spline diffs, including those with IRS....
