how much of my 4sp considering it is a early eb, is controlled by ecu?
i reckon its due for a bit of a service as kickdown is very slow sometimes. how can you tell if the torque converter is not working properly. its not slipping or anything but its not real responsive and i've heard of people changing it or putting in a higher stall one and making a fair difference. i recently had my car back on the rollers and discovered it was down 22kw on previous run (same dyno) if it was a problem with the trans in any way would this have showed up on the dyno. anyone in s.a recommend a decent trans joint. i work at mile end and live down south so somewhere along south road or around those areas would be good.
