Will a clutch cable off an au falcon 6 cylender fit an ef 6 and because of the problem with my current clutch cable the clutch was slipping a bit the other day when I took it to get the roadworthy n I'm worried that bit of slippage would have f**k the new clutch plate it was about a 15km drive n I babied it as best I could

Cable should be okay. A said above - You need to adjust the nuts at the top of the cable so that the correct adjustment is achieved between the pedal and the actual clutch workings. For it to slip it needs to be over tight which would suggest the pedal would be high.
Usually you'd think that clutch cables would be under adjusted meaning too much clutch grab and hard changing gears (particularly reverse)... |

I did try to adjust it I'm pretty sure the cables that stretched the end of the outer cable is getting caught on the firewall that's why it's slipping I just need to know if an au cable will fit my ef cause I can get a au cable for $60 or I can pay $90 for an ef cable n have to wait for it to be posted to me

check that your firewall is not cracked where the cable goes in??
its fairly common for the firewall to crack causing adjustment issues.... |

Yeah the firewall was cracked iv already plated it but it's still a bit dodge I need it mobile so I can take it to my uncles as he has all the tools I need to fix it properly
