I had my brakes done at Hightek brakes at moorabin on saturday. I had the discs machined, new pads and new brake fluid for $100. Also its a neat shop and the mechanics are friendly. I definetly recommend them.

Yes i recoment them to anyone... ive spoken to Cam on several occasions and he was most helpful. He gave me his opinion on brakes and what he thought was the best option for my driving style... the prices he gives us FM members is unbelievable...... i just ordered today

RDA slotted rotors for front - $77 each
Bendex porformax pads for slotted rotors- $54
Bendex advance pads for rear - $44

ive got a decent brake package now for a lil under 300 including shipping.......

The way he does business will see them grow bigger and bigger.....

Great guys down there at hightek, cam and john - ive been there for a few things now, rotors / pads / springs / and all again for this car.. Each time price has been awesome and more than very happy with service/products!

My brakes are yet to be bedded in so not sure how they are going yet, i dont wanna wreck them before they are done properly at 299 per front rotor. (FM price too, i think ford charged like 600 per rotor, non slotted LOL)

They look nice in the rims and they respect the car when working on it which i appreciate unlike a lot of places who just think "its another heap of crap customer car..rush in rush out"

Also i can see their business has grown a fair bit from last time i was there, proves it all pays off!

im goin down there tomorrow to get slotted rotors and pads, let you guys know how it all went
