I'm doing the conversion to 5spd manual very soon (gear should be here tomorrow) - and I'll be using a Mal Wood pedal pin to fit the clutch pedal - I've had the pin for about a week now waiting for the rest of the gear. So yesterday arvo I figured I'd take a peak at what's involved in fitting this pin so I took a gander up under the dash - I spotted the hole - it all looked straight forward - then I spotted the existing bit on the bulkhead for the spring to attach to - that looked sweet - then I spotted the hole/tube bit in the bulkhead where the clutch cable goes......... and it was absolutely chockers with Oxy Meter cable, BBM control wire, Knock Sensor cable and Hi6 Ignition module power wire....

AAAAArrrrgggghhhh!!!

5 hours later and I had managed to redo all the wiring and clear the hole for the clutch cable to go in.

Had the same problem when I converted the fairlane to manual, but I only had 3 wires for the gas system. Just think though, how much time and effort you saved by using the mal wood part as opposed to changing the pedal box over :)
