My ED ABS light stays on to. I touched a positive to the body doing something and light has been on since  Where is the fuse located for ABS? It's not in the fuse panel in car?

yup
if you want to check if your ASB is working or not head straight for the nearest gravel road and try a few emergency stops
that'll soon tell you whether it is or not
I have an XH xr6 ute which the ABS light has been on for the past few years
but I dont need any dianostics to work out why
it's because the ABS pump doesn't work
I'll get it fixed soon

another reason the light could come on is a poorly fit wheel seal that is not sitting properly, make sure it is pushed down enough in the disk and evenly, also make sure that the nut to hold on the disk is tight enough. any of these will the cause the abs light to come on as i have found. Another way to check this before pulling it down is to jack the car up and check if there is any play in the wheels. if so check the two causes i have described. hope this is of some help!
