ok now i know theirs a billion threads on shift kits, and yes ive searched.
What I'm asking is if anyone knows exactly how to build an adjustable (using a knob to adjust, not just two different settings) shift kit for a b series 4spd auto, and where to connect it so that it ONLY works in sports mode.

ive looked on the website that sells shift kits their overpriced considering their constructed out of $2 resistors and for b series theirs only one setting for shift strength.

get it tuned and tell the tuner you only want the firm shifting in performance mode only.

i know the custom tune is the best way to go, however unfortunately my budget is about 20 bucks  . i just want something i can whip up quickly that will make the car shift just that little faster in sports mode. if i was 100% sure that I'm going to keep the car for many years to come i would save up the money and get it tuned, but as I'm not to sure i can't justify the cost especially because I'm still studying i only work part time.
