I talk to WA suspensions in ozzy park and the guy reckons this is normal.. I said, "Wouldn't that wear out the bushes really quick?" He replied, "yes"
haha Is this normal? Isn't there a special type of bolt so it fits in properly? |

I would strengthen up the supports/brackets for the link mounts for the rear sway bar, they will crack and break out. I did this with mine.
I have a 27mm rear sway bar, not adjustable. I reckon that sway bar wasn't made properly, because the centre hole should line up directly over the bracket hole, yours doesn't. I have an adjustable Front sway bar, its 32mm in diameter, but the mountings it came with were crap, so I made my own, which stiffed it up a bit more again.

Can I just ask, if the bush's and bolts in that state, how can the swaybar then be of any use. Wouldn't all that movement negate any advantages of having an adjustable swaybar in the first place?

Thats much better. That would be the setup I'd go for. I'm very skeptical about the efficiency of the setup without the bracket.

that set up is a whiteline setup.. I got the same on mine.. they are good solid mounts.. jump on their site you may be able to order the parts.. there is a 90 degree bracket that bolts onto the exsisting mount so the sway bar and the figure eight piece witht the bushes all lines up and can be used with all the settings not just what looks like a bodge job.. sorry but yours looks unsafe as.. the bush will shear through in no time and them it will bang round harder than a $2 thai hooker.
