if they fit on your car, then they mustve been sticking out of the guards on the magna
EDIT: your pic is now working. Now try putting them on the front |

Now try putting them on the front This would hev been fine on the Magna, but I don't think that they look right on this. AU onwards wheels will fit on the rear of the pre-AU cars, but as the pics show, they sit a fair way in. There is nothing behind there that the wheels will hit (unlike the front). The front will still need spacers/adapters, and the back will look odd with the wheels so far behind the guards.

they were abit far out on the magna..hit the gaurds in the back with a carload..
anyway i got the fronts on and it hits the stubaxle so i tried with my adaptors and it just clears it without sticking too far out (does not scrape the guard..) so pretty much will i have to use the adaptors for the front, and none for the back? Still need to purchase 1 19" tyre for one of the rims then I will get them fitted and wheel aligned..damn its annoying jacking one corner at a time though heres some pics not sure why the pic came out like this, i was using my phone.. |

These wheels were made to suit a Falcon AU on.
Wheels made to fit a Magna have a smaller center bore hole. Without adapters on the rear you can get defected for under trac. Legalality of the adaptors is another question. Real grey area in some states and may need to be signed of by an Engineer. Plenty on threads on here with members debating if they are legal or not. With over 10yrs exp. in tyre fitting and wheel aligning. I would not fit adapters on my car.

Get into an accident and you havent got a leg to stand on not to mention the other consenquences.............. see post below and judge for yourself if its really worth it gearbox-suspension-brake-driveline-f4/why-not-to-run-hub-adaptors-this-is-proof-pics-t54731.html

Modern wheels are designed to center bore locate.
The hub adaptors made for the front of a falcon do not have provision to center bore locate. This means the weight of the vehicle is on the studs and not the hub.

Not to mention Hub adapters are an absolute pain in the a*** when your a dork like me who leaves a standard wheel as a spare....
Try getting a friggin hub adapter off on the front of the car on the side of the road to put the spare on!! Never again....urgh!!
